Recorded with real samba percussion instruments, this experimental track attempts to explore new sounds within the Brazilian tradition of Samba. Pandeiro, sanfona, and agogô are mixed with synthesized drums and the voice of Paulinho da Viola sampled from his remarkable interview at TV Cultura (see below). We sampled his voice and added some effects such as reverb, drawing the inspiration from electronic music, particularly ambient techno works. Enjoy.
